DPA 4099-DP-1-201-C

I recently purchased this mic for live performances with a singer songwriter. The mic excelled in not only translating essence of the cello (body, bow sounds, arco and pizz) but also in the isolation of the cello for monitor mixes and from-the-board performance recordings, giving lots of flexibility to manipulate the sound further. The only slight downside is well documented - the fragility of the chord. In all, its a wonderful plug and play mic.
