That drum is a challange!
Not worth this money.
You have to spend a lot of time to make this snare ready to play.
Throw off is a disaster, you can't even move the screw when it is on.
Six lugs are not enough even the hoop is 2.5cm. Maybe die cast will do the job.
I replaced strainers with PureSound and tested Aquarian Modern Vintage and Calftone head which works the best for me.
This snare has a one huge pros - dynamic range, with Calftone and PureSound strainers sounds very interesting, that is why I will keep that snare.
If you don't want to spend a lot of time to make your snare to work there is a better choice like 13" Hybrid Mapex or almost ready to play out of the box Ludwig 13"x06" Supralite .
