Martin Guitar SC-13E MOD Ziricote Burst Sp

I’ve been using this guitar for about a month and I’m extremely satisfied with it. Great construction quality, glossy and shiny. The only defect is that the ebony fingerboard, striped as per today standards (nothing to compare to the jet black of once upon a time), was extremely dry. Had to put on lemon oil several times to make it playable. Unplugged, the sound is pure Martin, similar to a OM model, perhaps with a slightly thinner tone when finger picked but with a very balanced loud sound when strummed. Once you plug it in, it’s an absolute powerhouse, the onboard pots work perfectly and having a very good gig sound it’s a breeze. The neck is fabulous, a no brainer: it arrived in practically perfect setting, ready to play right out of the box. It has become my favorite guitar, even more so than my dear old D28.
