Its not vari-mu so if you expect like la2a feel, then try other. But if you looking for some unique movement, it will give that feel. Because this comp compress sound more when signal goes in harder. However it doesn’t have something like shine or wide sound. When you analyze curve you hear little cut above 10k like 1-2 dB. However because of how it acts on sounds, i feel the transient compensate the cut. Anyway i might use this for focusing sound and probably after this go to api5500 or other tube comp. -1star on handling because the ratio knob is too hard to move.

Nice, elegant and functional stereo compressor, works great with all kind of guitars, drum bus and keyboards. With Background vocals works fine too, and it’s a great investment for the price. Go and get it before the company raises the price!!
