Yamaha YTR-6335RCS Commercial

I bought this trumpet after a lot of searching and in many companies. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to test it, so I relied exclusively on the technical characteristics that I read and all the expert reviews, although I believe that the chemistry with each instrument is a personal matter. I wanted an instrument that would cut through the ensemble since I play first trumpet with a symphony band with a diverse repertoire (from traditional, classical, rock, waltz, etc.). I wanted a multi-instrument that would respond well to all genres and not to any specific one. And that is exactly what I believe this trumpet is. I had it in my possession when I was studying shcilke and bach, but I wanted something more brilliant and multidimensional. I was completely satisfied with the result, it has incredibly brilliant and penetrating highs and at the same time satisfactory lows. It certainly wouldn't be my first choice if I only played classical music, but for the genres I play, I was very pleased and every day that passes, even more so, and imagine that I've only had it for 2+ months. A chameleon instrument as I read somewhere and I agree. Also something impressive is how easily the sound and character change with the change of mouthpieces! The response is immediate and the locking on the notes is perfect! Thomann's service is top notch and thank you for the very fast delivery.

Les premières impressions se sont vérifiées au long cours.
C'est la trompette la plus facile et la moins fatiguante que j'ai joué. Malgré un pavillon étroit, le son, brillant dans l'aigû est très large et résonnant dans le grave. C'est un caméléon, avec un son bien rond et doux à faible volume, capable de puissance et brillance si on la pousse. Grande précision et justesse. J'ai eu un petit problème avec cet instrument, étonnant considérant la qualité des contrôles chez Yamaha : un buzz qui apparaissait au niveau du contre ut et au dessus. Puis il est apparu de plus en plus fréquemment à des fréquences de plus en plus basses. Ce buzz persistait pistons et toutes coulisses vis et capuchons ôtés. J'ai contacté le SAV de Thomann qui m'a conseillé d'injecter de l'air comprimé. J'étais sceptique car je l'avais déjà nettoyée à fond 2 fois en passant les brosses dans tous les tubes. Je l'ai re nettoyée, ai poussé des spit balls avec Le compresseur a 6 bars et le buzz a disparu. Petit copeau métallique dans 1 des tubes ? Je n'ai rien retrouvé. Utilisée en quintet Jazz et orchestre symphonique 2eme trompette sans aucun souci. Je joue une yamaha 13c4 relativement profonde qui permet de tempérer le côté brillant de l'instrument.
