I’m not a Pro Tools user at all, but the Avid Dock works with Logic like an absolute charm. This thing is a tank — heavy, solid, and built like it’s meant to live in a studio for the next 20 years. Once you get it set up with EuControl, the workflow just clicks. Faders, transport, plugins, automation… everything feels faster and way more hands‑on than using a mouse.
What surprised me most is how natural it feels with Logic, even though it’s not the “official” DAW for Avid hardware. The integration is smooth, the touchscreen is actually useful, and the whole thing just makes mixing feel more like mixing instead of spreadsheet work.
If you want a compact control surface that feels professional and doesn’t fall apart, the Dock is honestly one of the best pieces of gear I’ve added to my setup.
