Boss EV-30

Als Gitarrist ohne Tontechniker, der mal die Lautstärke anpasst, ist das Ding unverzichtbar. Man könnte es ja auch zur Effektregulation verwenden, aber da braucht es ein zweites, da man mit einem Pedal nicht beides gleichzeitig machen kann.
Das Pedal wirkt sehr robust und wird wohl lange halten. Zu kritisieren ist lediglich, dass der Katana Verstärker sehr günstig angeboten wird aber der GA-FC Fußschalter und das EV-30 Pedal die für einen Auftritt eigentlich unverzichtbar sind, mit je um die 90€doch sehr hoch kalkuliert sind. Das muss man bei Vergleich mit anderen Produkten wo solches dabei ist, mit berücksichtigen.

I picked up the Boss EV‑30, and honestly, it’s one of those pedals that just quietly does its job without any drama. The build quality is classic Boss — metal, solid, and heavier than it looks. Once it’s on the board, it feels like it’ll survive anything.

What I really like is the dual outputs. I can control two different parameters at once, which is super handy if you’re running multi‑FX or synth‑style patches. The sweep is smooth, predictable, and doesn’t have that weird “dead zone” some cheaper expression pedals get. It just feels consistent under your foot.

It’s compact too, which matters when your board is already packed with power‑hungry pedals and random studio toys. No wobble, no noise, no calibration headaches — it just works.

If you want a reliable expression pedal that won’t fall apart, won’t eat half your pedalboard, and actually feels good to use, the EV‑30 is a solid choice.
