Good treatment for dark wood fretboards.
I purchased the Fender Fingerboard remedy for use on the fretboards of my guitars.
I’ve used lemon oil in the past which had worked well but I didn’t like the smell. So this seemed like a good alternative.
I used it first to treat the Pau Ferro fretboard of my Vintera guitar. The wood was looking a bit dry and quite pale compared to the rosewood on my other guitars. After applying the oil I found that the fretboard was a deeper, richer colour and was no longer dry looking. It also smells better than lemon oil.
It is easy to apply with a cloth and after a few minutes to let it soak in you just wipe the fretboard with a dry cloth.
One thing I didn’t like was that the container comes sealed in a transparent plastic cover.
Once I removed the cover the bottle was pretty greasy and had to be wiped down first.
I haven’t tried it on my rosewood boards yet but I’m presuming the same good results.
I’m pretty satisfied with this product and I would buy it again when it runs out.

Fingerboard-Arznei
