A beautiful, versatile and well-made instrument.

As soon as the guitar arrived, all I had to do was tune it and play.

The neck could be adjusted a bit, but the guitar needs to sit in this climate for about a week before I decide.

The guitar is so beautiful that there's nothing to tweak. I've just decided to buy a guitar strap: a Gibson Montana Comfort Strap Tan. I'll have a full Gibson set.

The guitar's tone is simply beautiful; I didn't even expect it to be this good, although that's subjective—everyone has their own preferences for sound.
I'm very pleased.

I'll share more details later.

P.S.
And what surprised me was that the guitar was released on my birthday - as if it was made for me

La chitarra definitiva.

Altissimo livello di costruzione. Bella da guardare e ancora di più da suonare. Leggera, bilanciata (un po' meno da seduti) e dal grande suono. Una dinamica pazzesca, un suono caldo e potente.

A versatile and good looking instrument.

I tried the 345 and the '59 335, but the 1959 ES-355 stands out - maybe because of the ebony fingerboard and build quality. The 355 has a certain twang for rhythm guitar and a clean dark sound for single notes. Mine is a 2023 model and had been in the case for two years, but played well out of the box. I am used to the action of jazz guitars so I have installed an original trapeze tailpiece instead of the stop tailpiece. It is an expensive, but versatile instrument.
