Nice.... but....
Barcelli 03.11.2025
I am not stranger to headless guitars with Strandberg, Eart x 2, Gear4music x 1, so this was an easy choice as i needed one with active pickups. Great service from Thomann, it was here in 3 days. The color is ..... interesting but not amazing but the neck is great. Maybe a little narrow. The setup was usable out of the box and just needed a little tweaking on action and intonation. In this price range i often have to level some frets but this one was fretted spot on. Strings were horrible and was changed and the trem was adjusted accordingly. At home the sound was quite good. Tonight i had a rehearsal and to my my surprise the solo sound were very dull and muddy. Even more surprising were the acoustic feedback, something i dont have on any other of my guitars, passive as well as active.
The guitar has a p/p for splitting the coils and it was sounding really sparkeling and still maintained a high output.
One thing i like too is the gigbag which is really nice
In spite of the new strings the guitar stayed in tune even after using the tremolo.
So....if you are looking for an active, headless 6 stringer, this one has many great qualities for the price. If you dont care about active pickups though, there are cheaper guitars just as good out there. Especially if you, like me, are allergic to feedback og high noise levels.
