Ibanez CSMini Chorus Pedal

I'm really digging Ibanez's range of mini pedals, and the Mini Chorus is no exception. My go-to chorus for a long time has been the MXR Micro Chorus, which I use in the studio all the time and sounds awesome. The Ibanez Mini Chorus delivers the same kind of sound, from lush swirling chorus for cleans all the way through to crazy Leslie-like sounds, but with the added bonus of depth and level controls to fine-tune the settings even further.

As many people have pointed out, the two smaller control pots for depth and level are hard to read, which is why I deducted a star for ease of use, but all you need is a white fine-liner to colour the notches in and you’re set (I did the same with my Tube Screamer Mini as well). Other than that, the pedal looks great, is built like a brick, and sounds awesome.

This is a great chorus pedal and the price makes it a bargain at the same time.

Die Büchse hat "den Hauch von früher" im Sound. Der Chorus kann von sehr soft bis unbrauchbar heftig eingestellt werden. Bedingt durch die Mini-Regler ist die Bedienung nicht immer zielsicher und schnell - aber das weiß man ja bereits beim Kauf. Einen Tone-Regler vermisse ich jedoch sehr, der würde die Klanggüte deutlich aufwerten. Wer modernen oder Hi-End-Chrous sucht, liegt hier falsch. Sound im Stile eines TC Electronic Dreamscape oder eines TC SCF kann die Büchse nicht, stereo (natürlich) auch nicht. Es ist schön, dass Ding "wie früher" zu haben - würde ich aber nicht nochmal kaufen.
