Ibanez SR305EDX-WZM

Der 5-Seiterbass ist im perfekten Zustand geliefert worden. Die Regelung der aktiven Tonabnehmer erlaubt vielseitige Soundeinstellungen, dabei ist aber eine neutrale Einstellung des Amps notwendig. Zudem sei bemerkt, dass falls vorhanden die Eingangsklinke mit + db verwendet werden soll, da der Ausgangspegel im Vergleich zu passiven Pickups höher ist. Optisch ist der Bass ein Hingucker und edel verarbeitet. Nach einigen Stunden spielen kann ich empfehlen bei Bedarf die Seiten ein bisschen abzudämpfen, da ein gewisses Mitschwingen der Seiten hörbar ist, was vermutlich von den aktiven Pickups abhängt. Für den Preis für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Der Bass kam recht gut voreingestellt an. Seitenlage und Bestückung passabel. Verarbeitung wie gewohnt sehr gut. Fretwrap dran und los geht's.
Lässt sich leicht greifen, auch bei nicht so großen Händen.
Soundeinstellmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut. Man bekommt mit ein bisschen Übung ein schönes Spektrum hin.
H-Seite kommt ohne Matsch.
Alles in allen ein schönes Instrument, nicht unbedingt nur für 5-Saiten Beginner, aber auch.

I've had it for 2 months and I'm completely satisfied with this bass!
It's very beautiful, with a flawless finish, although I'm not too sure about the durability of the paint. It looks like it got a little shine from my thumb, next to the pickup.

It came ready set up, I didn't have to adjust anything.
It took me a while to adjust the sound, as it has a strong equalizer and you need to spend time finding the right settings on the bass and the amplifier.
I'm not a professional musician, but its sound completely covered me.

I chose the EDX version because the bridge offers the ability to adjust the strings spacing and since it was my first time on a 5-string, I wasn't sure if the fixed spacing would be comfortable for me. In the end, I didn't need to adjust it, it's OK as it came.

For the end, I left the neck. I have no words, really. I started playing bass again a few months ago, after a 20-year hiatus. I have a good 4-string bass, with a fast neck and I chose the SR305 because I wanted a 5-string since I was a kid but I didn't have the money at the time. I remembered that Ibanez have thin necks that favor fast playing, so after searching I ended up with this one.
My first time on a 5-string and it didn't even take me 2 hours to feel as comfortable as the 4-string!
