I'm very satisfied with this mouthpiece and JK brand in general. The cup is quite shallow but not extremely shallow which results in solid sound core in low and medium registers, then high register is crisp and brilliant enough for my use (although not laser-sizzle style - or rather, has to be pushed little harder to achieve that comparing to say Schilke 14a4). The rim feels very comfortable allowing for great flexibility, at the same time giving good support for the lips. All in all, for me it's a true do-it-all mpc that gives great sound across entire range and works easily in various musical styles. Also it gives me great sense of security in terms of sound production, articulation and flexibility (unlike Schilke) without impacting endurance. I use it for the 1st trumpet in orchestras and the solo trumpet in a latino band.
