warning: Strymon power supply may cause issues
I can confirm that Halo #00229 works with two different Strymon Zuma power supplies. Happy days!

Keeley was helpful with an explanation: Some 1st article units have an issue with the way Strymons apply power and we needed to loosen our power tolerances quite a bit to allow you all more freedom of choice with transformer-less switching style PSU's.
Using with a regular wall wart or non switching power supply can help avoid the problem.
Had to send mine (serial #00282) back to Thomann (this was before Keeley support replied to my query)
and a few months later I sold it - just couldn't bond with it

Ein Pedalboard kann eigentlich nicht ohne das Halo auskommen!

Kompakt und klingt absolut!
Mir genügt meistens das HALO-Setting in Kombination mit einem Expression-Pedal, um für Clean-Rhythmus oder Soli den Effektlevel zu erhöhen. Extra Hall ist meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr notwendig. Slapback- und Bandecho sind aber auch sehr überzeugend herauszubekommen.
Bei Features und Bedienung habe ich etwas abgezogen, man kann es aber schon recht gut tweaken. Mit MIDI-Steuerbarkeit wäre es perfekt.
Kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie man das klanglich besser abgestimmt hinbekommen sollte! Gut gemacht, Keeley!

Guter Sound
Das HALO ist in meinen Augen eine gute Investition für Delay und Echo. In meinem Anwendung Bereich zu Hause im Studio leistet es gute Dienste. Der Sound ist schön klar, aber ich kann da nicht gut mit anderen Geräten vergleichen da dies mein erster Delay/Echo ist.

Viele Möglichkeiten = anspruchsvolle Bedienung. Intuitiv ist anders. Aber ansonsten erste Sahne
