Sitz wie angegossen auf dem MKH 416, ist intern genauso aufgebaut wie das Rycote Pendant und funktioniert bei leichtem bis mittleren Wind sehr gut.
Passt übrigens prima in diese verschraubbaren Polyethylen Transportrollen für Pläne oder Zeichnungen.

Günstige Alternative
Als günstige Alternative zu richtigen "Körben" ist der Rode WS7 bspw. in Kombination mit dem PG2-R eine gute Lösung, um im Freien Aufnahmen zu machen. Das Material ist steif genug, dass es nicht am Mikrofon anliegt, es ist leicht und schützt gut vor Windeinflüssen.
Ich verwende es mit einem NTG3 und bin sehr zufrieden damit.

I’ve been using the Rode WS7, and it’s one of those windshields that just does the job without any drama. It’s big, fluffy, and honestly looks a bit overkill at first — but the moment you take it outside, you understand why people swear by it.
Wind noise basically disappears. Even in stronger gusts, the mic stays clean and usable, which is something cheaper windshields just can’t pull off. The fit is tight and secure, and once it’s on, it doesn’t slide around or loosen up.
It does add some bulk to the mic, but that’s the trade‑off for proper outdoor protection. If you’re recording outside and want clean audio without fighting wind rumble, the WS7 is one of those “buy once and forget about it” pieces of gear.

Sitzt einwandfrei...
... und verhindert Windgeräusche. Tut also was es soll. Für den Einsatz in rauhen Bedingungen braucht man natürlich einen Korb sowie Fell.
