I bought this bag because it just happens to be the exact dimensions for an instrument i have. And also backback style straps. A hard find indeed. And its also very light weight. That is why I will keep it and repair it rather than sending it back.
First time on my back, one plastic strap buckle broke. The buckles are extremely thin. This is not an expensive part so I wonder how much the maker saves by skimping here. Also, its mostly single sttched.
To me. The thinness of the materials and quality justifies a pricing of about half the 33 euro price.
Oh, a little protection on the bottom would be a good idea given the type of material.
I like that the side carrying straps are not on the zipper side. This allows me to tie them shorter and wrap a handle around them. Otherwise when putting it on your back your arm would tend to go through the handles. And while walking have a tendency to catch on to protrusions like door handles etc. Oh, also, a little scotchguard helps a bit for some waterproofing.
I think thomaan can demand a little bit more quality from this supplier at the price.
