Es gibt besseres, aber nicht zu dem Preis

So kurz vor einer galoppierenden Inflation bin ich wieder an GAS erkrankt. Alles kaufen was geht. Und so landeten einige Neuanschaffungen im Rack. Eigentlich verwende ich im Rack nur Leitungen von Cordial, aber irgendwie ist mir dann doch das Geld während der Shoppingtour ausgegangen. Doch die vielen neuen Geräte ungenutzt in der Ecke stehen lassen ging dann auch nicht. Da alle Geräte Ballanced am Klinkenanschluss sind, ist eine etwas schlechtere Kabelqualität nicht ganz so kritisch sofern man TRS Kabel verwendet. Also 15 Bündel bestellt und ab ins Rack zum Verkabeln. Schön sind auch die Farben. So bekommt man sogar die Übersicht über seine Kabelwege. Ich hatte nicht einen Ausschuss dabei. Alle Kabel waren in Ordnung. Klang und Störfestigkeit sind deutlich besser als erwartet. Also ich glaube ich lassen den Schrank so. Bei Bühnenausstattungen würden sich dagegen weiterhin nur robuste Markenware verwenden, aber für Festinstallationen zum kleinen Preis kann man diese Strippen schon nehmen.

Brüchiges Kabel

Haben 2006 diese Kabel zur Siderackverkabelung gekauft. Während des ersten Jahres hatten wir keine Probleme, doch dann mehrten sich Kabelbrüche und Wackelkontakte. Haben inzwischen alle Patchkabel entfernt und durch hochwertigere ersetzt.

Bedenkt man die Zeit die für Fehlersuche aufgewendet werden musste, hätten sich bessere Kabel schnell bezahlt gemacht. Leider kann ich hier nur einen Stern vergeben.

Ich benutze die Kabel als Verbindung vom Interface zum Mischpult und habe nur deshalb günstig gekauft, weil sie dort stecken bleiben.
Viele Steckzyklen halten diese Kabel wohl nicht aus, sind aber vernünftig verarbeitet.
Leider wurden die vielen Drähte zur Fixierung teils so fest darum gezwirbelt, dass die Kabel deutliche Einschnürungen haben. Vorsichtshalber durchgemessen - alles okay.

Was ich beim besten Willen nicht verstehe ist, warum man Patchkabel immer nur im 6er-Pack kaufen kann, statt im 8er-Pack. Warum nicht einfach z. B. Orange und Lila oder Pink dazu? Das wäre ja nur sinnvoll...

Klar kann man bei den Kabeln für den Preis nicht allzu viel erwarten, aber ich muss sagen, mich haben die Kabel noch nicht enttäuscht!

Schnelle Lieferung. Qualitativ vollkommen in Ordnung! Kosten vergleichsweise wenig, aber tun ihren Job.

Bei mir sind sie einerseits fest in der Patchbay verbaut und vorderseits zum patchen gedacht, werden also vorne immer wieder ein und ausgesteckt - und bisher kein Verschleiss. Ich benutze sie auch um Synthesizer verkabeln - hab welche in mono und stereo!

Sie funktionieren sehr gut! Ich muss allerdings auch sagen, dass ich sehr pfleglich mit meinen Kabeln umgehe, auf dass sie lange halten mögen.
