Cons first:
- Doesn't fully cut the input sound; a tiny level still bleeds through. I don't get how, because testing with a multimeter shows a complete break in the circuit when the switch is pressed. I guess it has something to do with the switch itself.
- The switch is wonky; I don't know how to describe it. Sonically, the stutter effect sounds better when you don't press the switch down completely, kinda need to tap it gently like a telegraph machine, which is quite hard with your foot, especially wearing shoes :D
Pros:
- Price/quality ratio is good IMO. I calculated it would have cost me 14 EUR in components and housing price to build the same pedal from scratch, but add on top shipping, drilling, soldering, and assembling. That would cost me my time :D So 29 EUR to me is a fair price for a pedal that simple.
- It does have boutique aesthetics to it: nice plain carton box, with shredded black paper inside for couching, powder-coated housing, nice 6.3 mm TS input jacks.
Conclusion: I am satisfied with the pedal, though it could have been a tad better on the switch side.
