Nun alles super :)
Ich verwende das Effektgerät im HR-Studio und nicht auf der Bühne. Es hängt am FX des Allen&Heath Pultes(Send).
Hardware: Das Gehäuse ist aus Metall-steht aber nicht 100% gerade(wackelt etwas, kann man aber leicht korrigieren). Die Drehregler, Taster und Displays sind alle sehr gut. Ich bediene es per Hand-da ist das drücken schon etwas kraftaufwendiger, aber damit hab ich gerechnet. Die Buchsen sind auch alle in Ordnung. Es ist kein USB-Kabel (Micro B) dabei!
Die Software braucht lange zum starten, weil es online nach Updates sucht. Kann man aber abstellen(beide Hakerl unter "Help" deaktivieren.
Nach dem Kauf hab ich die neueste Firmware(1.10) aufgespielt, und auch Updates aus dem Netz bezogen. Hier tut sich was bei Zoom-das find ich sehr gut-immerhin gab es EINIGE neue Effekte.
Soundmäßig ist es schon sehr gut, wobei ich AMP+Co nicht brauche. EDIT: es wurde die Software überarbeitet, und nun ist alles TOP :)

Good - Bad - NOT TOO Ugly
THE POSITIVE:
The Zoom G3n is a economical good-quality desktop Multieffects device adequate for use in the home studio, for practice, for experimentation and for fun. The sound quality of the digital effects is clear and crisp and not vastly inferior to individual Stomp-Boxes. The Amp and cabinet models are interesting. The connectivity is good with Aux-In, Stereo-Out, Stereo Phones-Out, and USB. The Guitar Lab Editor works well and increases the efficiency and the fun-factor. The device is sturdy and compact. The Drum machine is a practice - and a creative help.
THE NEGATIVE:
Only 7 effects-blocks can be utilized per patch, and many effects require 2 blocks. The drum machine requires a dedicated block.
Example: Compressor, EQ, Fender Twin Amp, 2x12 Cabinet, Hold-Delay, HD-Reverb, and Drums would be a common configuration, but which requires 10 blocks - and is therefore not possible. If you want the Drums and Reverb, you have to remove EQ, Cabinet, and Hold-Delay from the chain. If you want Drums and Hold-Delay you have to remove EQ, Cabinet and Reverb from the chain.
The Tap-Tempo function is buried in the software and requires too much button-pushing and dial-turning.
SUMMARY:
Forget most of the over-saturated Factory Presets and create your own Patches.
A good-sounding patch is possible with the G3n ; an Amp-Model can fairly do the job of providing EQ, and in my opinion a G3n patch sounds clearer without a Cabinet-Model. But you are still limited by having to sacrifice either the Drums, and/or the number of effects assigned to a patch. This makes it necessary to create several individual patches to provide various spartan configurations.
Another important point is that to monitor the G3n directly at Phones-Out with headphones requires good-quality low-impedance/high-SPL phones. The G3n Phones-Out is weak, and using high-impedance phones (above 32 Ohms) requires the use of a mixer or headphone-amp between the G3n and the phones.
All-in-all, at its sales-price, the G3n makes for fun at home, but is not suited for use in a live and/or a professional situation.
HOPE FOR THE FUTURE:
Zoom should put a 32-Bit / 96kHz DSP into a compact desktop device capable of handling at least 15 effects-blocks per Patch. Drums and Tap-Tempo should be directly accessible on the face of the device without having to enter the software. A dial which performs the function of a foot-pedal would be nice.

Gutes Gerät
Habe das Gerät als Ersatz für das Zoom G3 gekauft.Das Gerät ist sehr gut verarbeitet und im Sound und Bedienbarkeit top.
Wichtig sind für mich allerdings auch Drum und Looper.Hier hat Zoom die Bedienung jedoch wesentlich geändert.Drum und Looper werden als Effekte in den Patch eingebaut(Drums sind nur klangneutral ,wenn Drums an letzter Stelle im Patch eingesetzt sind )
Das hat sicherlich den Vorteil ,dass eine Anzeige von Drum und Looper im Display erfolgt und eine Bedienung über die Fusstaster möglich ist - aber wenn ich den Patch ändere
enden Drum und Looper.
Im Effektbereich ist das Gerät sehr gut und vielfältig.Wer auf die Drumbegleitung und den Looper nicht so viel Wert legt ,
liegt mit dem Zoom G3 n genau richtig.
