Like any metal head I always wanted a V Shap guitar, when I made my mind I went straight for the LTD as a weapon of choice as I already owned 4 of them and they quality is second to none.
I chose Thomann as they seemed a very reliable saler as the guitar was out of stock in the UK.
The guitar arrived a few days after purchasing due to Brexit crap, the guitar wasn't packed as I expected for a long journey from Germany to the UK, the instrument was in a cardboard box with a few sheets of brown wrapping paper and in it's original cardboard box, no bubble wrap, fragile sign, nothing.
When I opened the package the guitar appeared fine no cracks in the headstock or neck it finish was flawless and beautifully crafted , however I immediately notice the EMG pickup was touching the strings and was loose, the pickup has been perpously unscrewed from the pickup cavity but why, my heart nearly sunk with fear the pickup could be damaged.
The guitar was fine, however I didn't understood how could a company like Thomann could sale or send an high range Guitar with a loose unscrewed pickups a first buyer and possible loyal customer ?
The guitar sounds amazingly and the neck dive is very unnoticeable, however im still very disappointed with Thomann for sending me a guitar priced £959 with a loose unscrewed pickup, 5 stars for guitar, 0 stars for the saler.
Great instrument, terrible saler service from Thomann.
