Fender Studio Pro 8 with 12M Pro+

I have never used any other DAW before but I really fell in love with Fender Studio. I like it’s modern interface. Sometimes it feels little bit overwhelming but in general I feel really comfortable using it. The drag and drop workflow is awesome. I don’t have to think how to do stuff. Just drop any effect on the track and that’s all. For home use it’s robust enough to record, mix and master without any external plugins. Only downside is slight performance issues. Few times the app has crashed but it was not a big issue for me.

I've been using Ableton Live 12 for several years, bought it not knowing that it was designed for electronic stuff with sampling and the like.

Fender Studio Pro has been an upgrade on every single point, better interface, better customization options, audio quality seems better although I am uncertain as to how it would be different.
It's also way less CPU intensive, program itself is much more stable than Live, more consistent, build in guides with useful info etc.

I have no complaints so far, the plugins, be it eq/effects or guitar/bass amp sims has been great and a solid addition to the toolset.
The chord selector tool is amazing for experimenting with chord progressions, and with a chord identifier feature that works pretty well from audio clips.

The interface can seem cluttered, but the keybindings are intuitive and easily configurable, so you only see the menus that you need. While the console can be popped out to be put on another screen or even remote access controlled through IPad or the like.

Really just all around great for studio recording, mixing and exploring options.
