Elgato Wave Desk Stand

Werkzeug zum Einschrauben der beiden Schrauben liegt bei, danach hat man einen sehr robusten Tisch-Ständer. Der Arm hat zwei per Flügelmutter arretierbare Gelenke, so dass der Ständer ein Mikrofon über dem Fuß (ca 1,5cm dick) oder gegenüber halten kann. Ich traue dem Ständer das angegebene Kilo Tragkraft in jeder Position zu.

Adapter von 1/4" auf 3/8" und 5/8" liegen bei, und haben jeweils einen Schlitz, damit man sie auch wieder gut entfernen kann. Die 4 Silikon-Bänder halten das Kabel sehr gut an Ort und Stelle.

Kritikpunkte? Die Flügelmuttern haben jeweils nur einen Flügel, was das Auf- und Zuschrauben etwas unangenehmer macht, als nötig, und die Gelenke sind nur in einer Ebene. Für bestimmt Anwendungen mag also noch ein Adapter ala Audio-Technica AT8459 nötig sein (nicht getestet); mein Lewitt LCT 440 Pure hält er aber perfekt.

Preis/Leistung ist meiner Meinung nach super, und ich würde es wieder kaufen.

I'm using this stand with the Neat Kingbee II, which is a heavy microphone. I needed a solid desk stand, preferably one that looks good and is not more expensive than the mic itself.

Elgato Wave desk has been a great solution. The stand holds the mic safely and provides flexibility adjusting the position. It provides the right amount of friction to be easy to adjust but avoid accidental moves. In addition, it has a nice minimalistic design that pairs well with the mic.

According to the specs, the max load for the stand is 1.0 kg (2.2 lbs), but is perfectly capable of holding the mic safely despite the mic weight, over 1.1Kg (2.47 lbs), exceeding slightly the stand theoretical capacity.

It is a bit pricy, but I could not find a more affordable alternative that meet the requirements. In fact, it is available at a lower price point than similar solutions such as the Rode DS2.

The construction uses metal with a few plastic exceptions (such as the top part of the base). The plastic quality seems good, but at this price point, I'd expect a full-metal body.
