I’m using the K&M 20125 with an Aston Halo, and this stand handles it like a champ. The Halo isn’t light — it puts way more leverage on a stand than a normal mic setup — but the 20125 doesn’t care. It’s heavy‑duty, properly balanced, and once you lock it in place, it stays exactly where you put it.

No sagging, no slow slipping, no “is this going to tip over” feeling. The base and tubing are thick, the joints feel solid, and the whole thing has that classic K&M “built for real studios” vibe. It’s heavier than typical stands, but that’s exactly why it works so well with something as bulky as the Halo.

If you’re running an Aston Halo or any other heavy reflection filter, the 20125 is one of the few stands that actually feels stable enough for it.
